2022 Blue Crush opinion...

New Canuck member here....

Currently awaiting my 2022 TRD OR 6M Access Cab.
The dealer tells me my color choices are

Black
MGM
White
Blue Crush

Went to dealership and looked at Blue Crush on a 2021 Corolla... to me it looks purple.

I keep my Tacos for 10-15 yrs.

Not sure I can committ to that colour for that long....

Looking for opinions.....thx

I didn't know blue crush was available for Tacoma. What happened to Voodoo blue?

 

I also was not aware that blue crush was available on the Tacoma. Its kind of a neat color and I actually like it... Just on someone else's truck.

 

Out of those colors, it would be MGM for me.

 

I didn't know we could get a locking diff (OR package) and a MT !

 

I like MGM. I have black. Hard to keep clean, but both colors are pretty long lived in my opinion.

 

Yea, my last truck was mgm. It was fine. My vette is black so I don’t want a black truck. I went silver on my latest truck. Low maintenance.

 

We have MGM for our 4Runner. Definitely hides dust a lot better than my truck

 

Anybody got a picture of a Tacoma in blue crush?

My 07 which I still have is Black. Need a change after 14 years.

Was Bummed when sales guy said Cement and Voodoo were discontinued for TRD OR access cab in Canada.

He also said No more access cab in SR5 or SR in canada. If you want access cab TRD off rd only. For 2022.

 

TRD OR access cab 6M is only a canada thing. In US you have to order a Sport as far as I know.

 

Sounds like a sensible choice. I think the blue would look good too, but if you’re not sure it’s better to go with your gut. I’ve never seen a bad color on a Tacoma. It’s a good design so it looks good in all shades.

 

I think it looks purple because it is purple... but probably wouldn't sell well marketed as purple.
That said, I actually like it.

 

Alright!. Sounds like there bringing a Cobalt Blue lookalike l like i had on my first gen.

I would have to see one in person to judge but from the pictures of Corollas on Autotrader with the color, I don't hate it

Its kinda bright without being "in your face" voodoo that was always way too "look at me" of a color imo
