Does anyone over here in the vast knowledge of the 3’rd gen forum have an accurate / verified weight for this wheel / rim?:

    upload_2021-11-10_10-11-46.jpg

I’m not too savvy on when the change occurred to this style on the 3’rd gen Sports (I *think* MY20) from the previous 17” style which has been rumored to be ~26lbs.

    Thanks!

Can't give you a verified weight but that wheel double boxed weighs 33 pounds, I'd guess the double boxes weigh around 3-5 pounds so net weight would be approx 28 pounds. That weight includes a center cap, valve stem (but no TPMS sensor) and a lead weight for balancing.

    Ok. Appreciate that.

Anybody else got some weights to share with the group?

    Too few to list.
Old thread but since this wasn’t really confirmed so I decided to weigh mine while off. Tire is a Toyo Open Country A30 265/65R17 listed at 36lbs per Tire Rack but 37lbs per Discount Tires/America’s Tires. Couldn’t find it at the official Toyo Tires website though. The scale is pretty accurate enough and shows a combined wheel and tire weight at 62.8lbs including wheel weights, center cap and valve stem which makes the Sport wheel around 26-27lbs.

Thank you for this. Was just looking for stock wheel/tire weight combined to compare to a different setup I'm considering. RR7-H -12 wrapped in wild peak 275/70 17 C load.

    Soooo...

62.8 pounds combined wheel/tire weight per?

I'm trying to determine how much more weight I would want to add in a bigger tire setup.

I went with 265/70 17 wildpeak on RR7-H 0 offset, and it looks and feels fantastic. So far I have only lost no more than 2 mpg, and I can live with that.

Hey there Eyez_on. What lift if any do you run with those Wildpeaks? I’ve read that those will run 100% fine on a stock Tacoma but just checking nonetheless. Thanks.

I have 6112's up front on clip setting 4-driver 3-passenger (1" lift which is stock for trd trim levels), and 5160's in the rear without the AAL. I have it but haven't installed it yet because I wanted to feel the difference going from stock trd Sport Hitachi shocks to the 5160's without any extra stiffness from adding leafs.
On a completely stock truck with stock rims, I don't think these will rub. I went with the 6 ply 115t rating too, to save about 7 lbs per tire, and they are marginally smaller in diameter to the c-rated 10 ply. On my 0 offset rr7's, they rub. I had to cut the "tabs" out from under/inside the fender, and I still have to take a heat gun to the liner because the stock "path" from the mold doesn't match my offset. After cutting tabs it only catches while 1/2 turned and hitting a nice bump, but as long as I choose my path properly and turn the wheel all the way it tucks inside the fender and clears. I haven't messed with the liners yet because I'll probably raise up the front another 1/2- 1" when I do the AAL and I don't think I'll have any issues after it goes up a bit more.
