    Hi Everyone -

New to the Tacoma forum here. I've been a loyal Tacoma fan since my 2006 TRD Sport in Speedway Blue with a 6 speed. This was followed by a 2012 Magnetic Gray Sport with a 6 speed, a 2016 TRD Sport with an Auto, a 2017 TRD Pro Cement with a 6 speed, and my current 2021 TRD Pro Lunar Rock with a 6 Speed.

I am considering upgrading to more space and purchasing a 2024 Tundra 1794 with the hybrid. I understand that the 2024+ TRD Pros won't be coming with a manual transmission (at least, not yet) due possibly to the hybrid setup.

My question is: What do you think my 2021 TRD Pro Lunar Rock is worth? it has 33,XXX miles, I am the original owner, it's pretty loaded with most of the 2021 OEM options (Bed Step, Bed Extender, Bed Lights, Locking Tailgate, Roof Rack, TRD Pro Graphics).

Appreciate being here and receiving feedback from Tacoma lovers.

Check the online resources, they will consider current market and your area,,, that plays a big part of the equation.

I looked up my 2020 TRD pro (22500 miles) last night on KBB and the retail was between 39599 - 42350...so a little higher if you sell it out right.

I bought nearly this exact truck in the fall of last year and the truck had about 27k. I think I paid 45k. Granted it was an automatic. I think you could easily get 42 - 44 still

Carvanna sent me an offer of $22k for a 2017 TRD Sport w/28,000 miles. No, it wasn't April 1st either. I laughed and thought I'd buy 10 at that price.

I bought my 2021 Trd Pro 3.5 V6 6 spd automatic with 43k miles in Knoxville in January and paid $41,673. It's pristine, has been meticulously cared for and runs great! No shifting issues, gets up and goes!! Paint is flawless, no peeling anywhere.

After restructuring to avoid bankruptcy last year they've finally come to their senses on offers they make.

I would stay away from 3rd gen Tundra as much as possible.

as for 21 TRD 33K miles and as you said fully loaded, I would try to get at least 45K because V6 Tacoma's are gone and most people are skeptical about turbo, besides new Tacoma is so expensive its just dumb.

As for Trade in, dealer will just look up pricing online without even looking at car other than for damage, which is super stupid. They don't care if engine is messed up or windows don't work etc, they just look at exterior and look up price, at least with my 2 cars that was like that. This is why I will never buy preowned renewed vehicle.

So better to sell it yourself if you ask me.

I did a quote thru them and nearly every week for about a month they would send me an email upping their original offer. I think after the month it ended up being nearly $1500 more than they originally offered.

    @Absvttaco - :yes: For what it's worth, I agree!!

Fortunately, this did not turn out to be the case for me. I admit I was skeptical at first about buying a pre-owned truck from a dealer in another state, but I'm greatly relieved that my truck turned out to be perfect! :yay:

What is your reason for wanting a hybrid? Check out this Tundra article from Car and Driver.

“Twin-turbo V-6 hybrid delivers plenty of muscle but fuel-efficiency gains are minimal and towing and payload ratings fall behind the pack—making the nonhybrid Tundra the better choice.”

I think you could get about $40k for it if you traded it in to a dealer. I’d stay away from the 3rd gen tundra. Way too many things going on under the hood and they’re still having issues. Get a 2020-2021 tundra with the tried and true 5.7!

3rd gen Tundra is bad, stay away save yourself from trouble. If you don't believe me , go on kelly books, or simply on forums here :)

What's worst is that its one of the most expensive full size, yet delivers worst results and on top on that tons of issues that Toyota drivers aren't used to with other Toyota vehicles.

original MSRP 4yrs ago was 40,500. I bought it for 36,600 plus TT&L after discount etc

Had a moderate accident , front driver side, worth $16k. Accident is on carfax.
I did a few online appraisals and checked the box if it has been in any accidents: Carvana offered 28k. Carmax offered 36k

Too good to be true...i went in person to carmax to verify. they did their inspection and gave me $36k for it. Yesterday they listed it for 39,998.
Weird thing is their ad says no accident based on AutoCheck:crazy:.

Agree with the ~$44k - desirable color with desirable transmission. Paid 40 for my '18 6MT Pro last year with 60k mi, granted I went out of my way for CavBlue and probs overpaid a touch. With your LR you should get a couple Gs more than a similar white or MGM one.
