Has any one swapped OEm bumpers to the Off Road type? Are the bracket locations the same as the the 2018 to recent?

load some pictures when you can. I just went through a similar headache with a hooke offroad rear bumper. I couldnt get it to slide in far enough either. My truck has a Uhaul hitch on it. After well over a month of dicking around with it trying to make it work and almost cutting it, I boxed it up and sent it back for a refund. I then ordered the Tyger rear steel bumper to try. I was able to make that one work with minor modification. Happy happy now.

I was finally able to snap the pictures.
Note: The front bumper does Not need cutting... Fortunately, the front shorty covers my gaff! (ouch)

My Tako does Not have a Factory Receiver Hitch. However, it does have the cross member in the same location. I is removable. However, after some image searches... the OEM receiver hitch seems identical. Difference is the receiver hitch itself. So, I will Notch the cross member and weld in some angle iron & reinforce the stress points some what.
I do Not think to drop $500+ on an oem. I don't know. I'll wait till Next Friday to consider.

Up to you, for me it ended up not being worth cutting. I had much better luck with the Tyger, it comes with 2 different options to mount it up. Below is what i had to cut for it.

Once i cut those tabs down on both sides i had plenty of room to slide it in far enough to mount it up.

I was visiting the bone yard. I noticed an 80's F150. I also noticed the bumper brackets! So, It got me thinking. So, I got home and jumped on internet... After some searching... This is what i found.
I will Not have to notch the OEM bracket/support member. I will post pictures after the the process is finished.
The first picture is what I ordered. The second picture, I can Not find as to where these parts go. If they fit the OEM rail/chassis internally, then I will get them for additional support. (Now, about that cross member! That ford cross member is thinking quite soundly!!)
