2021 or 3rd gen TRD Sport Lift kit/Leveling... Difference? Pros/Cons?

I'm really wanting to start modding my truck some... I'm thinking about a lift or at least leveling it with a 2-inch level to start. I see 3-inch lifts and levels end up needing a new control arm... (sooo out of budget currently) What have y'all done and what do y'all recommend? Nervous to start something and it go wrong somehow!

I'd love to see a discussion here. I have the same truck and am starting to look at lift kits. New to all this so a bit lost as to where to start. Where did you see info that a >=3" would require a new control arm?

to OPs defense, its easier to start a thread specifically about leveling kits rather than to browse through 75 pages of comments hoping leveling was discussed somewhere in there
