Can't seem to search for this on here and not getting a good hit on Google. I have a 2021 SR5. I have this particular key fob as shown. to get it to talk to the truck, it has to be about 3 to 4 feet away so I am assuming the battery is going bad. When I opened it up, I saw all this inside, and I stopped

it appears to have a cart, Roche, and I don't know what to do next.

    any suggestions?

    I did this yesterday.

You'll need a CR2016-style coin cell battery (not the more common CR2032).

The inner module you pulled out of the key also needs to be opened up -- the black bottom shell will unclip from the translucent side. You'll have to work the smallest flat blade screwdriver you have (or better yet, a plastic spudger) around all sides to unclip it. Careful not to pry too hard -- the plastic is very thin.

Once the black cover is off, swap the coin cell and snap everything back together.

I would also clean the metal contacts with steel wool where the coin battery sits while in there. Sometimes the battery might still be good just not making good contact
