I’m not sure any tips we’re to order the dual wire kit and some advise on how to hook it up , I’ve called 2 Toyota dealerships they say I need a whole wiring harness but they can’t hold me up to that . The pictures I have posted is from a buddy’s truck I want the same set up my truck has the hole for the same on it’s just empty *update I have some pictures what my truck has from factory can I plug something into this to make it work ? I would be so grateful for y’all’s help

6 pin is for an camper trailer I believe. The 4 pin is for trailer lights. You can buy a plug and play wire harness from etrailer.

etrailer is the way to go. Durable inexpensive hitches and harnesses. On their sight plug in what you own and need, it'll present you with options. Always have great deals and ship entire hitches free.
    Very helpful too.

All you need is for trailer lights? Go to U-Haul and see what they can do for you.

I did this a couple of weekends ago. I used part # 118685 from etrailer.

Extremely simple install. You’ll need something to crimp, something to cut wire, and something to heat up heat shrink tubing. You also have to run a wire the length of the vehicle up to the battery.

It does not use the connector in your picture but instead plugs into the back of the taillight.

I did it with my old man. Took about an hour, but wasn't very hard at all.

On my basic 2014 Tundra I just purchased the wiring hookup from Toyota and it just plugged right in. I think I just bought a hitch for truck and it bolted on. Very simple from Toyota.
