Hello all,I lifted my 2020 OffRoad 2 inches without issue but after the alignment shop I had a constant Traction control and flashing Anti collision. after researching here I assumed I needed to zero out my VSG but my pinout on my diagnostic Port seems different. The shops computer didn't even recognize my truck. I only have pins in 4,5,6,7,11 and 16. Any help on finding the TG and TS pins would be greatly appreciated.

The pins in the ODB2 connector are purely the protocol being used, but I think your reading t incorrectly, it doesn’t look like you have anything in pin 11.

But you should use techstream to change / reset anything through that port, unless it’s the basic / standard ODB2 check lights. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do with VSC (if you mean vehicle stability control) through that port.

I appreciate it, I'll give it a closer look. Here is a different pic which is a little better. I'd like to reset the VSG but I'm not sure what pins need shorted. I had thought I read 4 and 12 but that can't be right.

Yeah the pinout changed I think. The paperclip method to enter transmission fluid check doesn't work on the 2020. Try that search criteria "2020 transmission fluid check" see if it helps any.

if you use the image I posted as a guide, anything connect in a blank port is manufacturer specific and sometimes there are “short” tricks to reset things. Any pins listed in that image should NOT be shorted under any circumstances. But these “short” tricks are becoming less and less as vehicles are utilizing more control modules and canbus to communicate.

Read up on techstream, $15 and an old laptop will give you access to anything the dealer can do.

You're trying to do a zero-point reset and calibration?
It is or was pin 4(CG-chassis ground, SAE required) and pin 12(TS, vendor option...Techstream?).

Toyota might have gotten wise to the use of the jumper method by end users.
Does the scan tool you tried support Toyota CAN and/or Toyota K-Line protocols?

2016-2019 DLC3 has the following pins:

    4 - CG
    5 - SG
    6 - CANH
    7 - SIL
    9 - TAC
    12 - TS
    13 - TC
    14 - CANL
    16 - BAT

2020 DLC3 has the following pins:

    5 - SG
    6 - CANH
    7 - SIL
    13 - TC
    14 - CANL
    16 - BAT

Toyota removed the wire running from the ABS ECU to the DLC3 connector. Interesting fact though is that the ABS ECU itself is the same for 2020, so I suspect if you wanted to be able to do the same thing, you could just add a terminal and tire to Pin 24 of the ABS ECU connector and ground it to the vehicle's chassis and it would be the same as jumping 4-12 on a 2016-2019.

    Vacuum-Type Brake Booster:
    82998-24420 - Terminal W/Wire, Connector (Alternate: 82998-12780, 82998-12790)

    Hydraulic-Type Brake Booster:
    82998-24250 - Terminal W/Wire, Connector (Alternate: 82998-74030, 82998-74040, 82998-24260)

OP, were you able to resolve this using Techstream?
I've tried the short out method on my '19 several times and it doesn't work.

Jeff! Any idea on a radiator part number update for the V6? They're not shipping with the add on trans cooler anymore. Only the internal radiator cooler for the trans.
