2020 TRD Pro Colour dilemma

Go White for the win

 

White would not be my top pick at all. In the situation where I needed a truck Id still take white. Guys make white look good by adding black accessories and wheels.

 

I had a white Camaro a decade back and it was dirty constantly. White was a pita imo. Coming from experience.. dont settle on color. I settled on my Tacoma, was totally ‘meh’ when I looked at it but otherwise a great truck. Held out over 6 months until I found an inferno Tundra in the exact config I wanted after almost going with blue one and my husband talking me out of it and telling me constantly to hold out for the right one. So glad I did. ‘No regerts’.

 

If you're paying that much for something, it should be exactly what you wanted. Not something that's kind of what you wanted.

 

yeah, but what I wanted is no longer an option. It's white today or wait 4-6 months for a lunar rock pro

 

One word... CEMENT!

 

Any chance you'd downgrade to OR in AG and upgrade equivalent parts? Is the colour more important than the options?

 

I'd jump on cement. That's a great colour.

If it were me, I’d go white. I think white looks awesome on the Pros. My son is coming from Cement and was choosing between white and LR; picked white.

Also, MY20 production is done. There are 20s in-transit, but that’s it.

 

I have white DCSB TRD Off Road with the black fender flares. Also purchased black badging and running boards.

Even if I hadn't done all of that, white never goes out of style or grows old.

 

Don't settle on color, if anything downgrade to OR and add Pro parts as others have said. Have to look at the color everyday, so have to get that right. I just switched to Cement after 3 previous MGM Tacomas and am very happy with Cement.

 

You have to decide because you are the one who has to live with the decision. But, seeing how you asked, I wouldn’t settle, I’d get the color I wanted and compromise on the trim level.

 

I was in a similar situation when purchasing my TRD Sport as I wanted Inferno and didn't even want to consider any other color, until I realized I was going to have sacrifice almost every other feature I wanted to get it.
So settled for a Silver Sky Metallic decked out with everything, and I love it. Can't even believe now that I wanted Inferno.

 

I'm not really a white vehicle guy (though I daily my wifes Rav4 in super white lol) but white TRD Pros look so good, id venture even better than AG. Id go super white.

 

to me, color matters less as long as i get the trim and features i want.

 

He wants a new Pro though.

 

First and foremost, you gotta follow your heart and get what you really want.
