I work part-time at a Toyota dealership and have noticed a lot of 21,22,and 23 model year Tacoma's coming in for recalls. I have a 20 and have yet to be recalled for anything. Anyone out there with a 20 have a recall for anything?
    Hopefully I haven't jinxed myself.

2020 has the fuel pump recall.

    2021 doesn’t have any recalls.

    2022-2023:

    • has the rear axle recall for the possible weld splatter where the axle retaining nuts fasten.
    • Something about a rear child seat latch not being welded properly.
    • And a load carrying/FMVSS label that was incorrect. (2022 only)
2023 adds one about an airbag not deploying properly. 2023 does not have the label problem.

The fuel pump recall was the most significant, they were mostly failing on the 17-19s but its nice the 20s were covered.

Honestly I dont view recalls as a negative, they are improvements. No different than a pc update or phone update. Not many products have free updates in day to day.

Something that has to be fixed that should have been done right in the first place is an improvement?

That's a pessimistic view. Not many multifaceted products are perfect.

A shovel doesn't need improvements, but a vehicle with thousands of parts? Ya man.

My 2020 TRD OR never had the fuel pump recall.

See, I keep telling everyone that my 2021 was the best year of the 3rd Gen’s!

Now, with this new evidence, I’ll be insufferable:yes:
