Fuel line that runs from your fuel pump. Have you had the fuel pump recall done recently? That clip pops right off both lines, once you pop that off you can verify that your lines are connector properly

THERE are rubber seals inside the lines that may have split, take it back to the dealer, should be a very easy fix.

Thank You all for the help. Was exactly the same issue addressed above. Got the truck back from the dealership this afternoon.

Thanks Taco_6112. Great info. Mine just started leaking yesterday. I had the fuel pump recall done in Nov 2020. Did they even charge you for the rubber seals ? IMG_0557.jpg

They initially wanted $132 for diagnostics but after realizing the issue manifested after the recall was done, they didn’t charge me anything.

Newbie here. Same issue but my 2016 Tacoma is not subject to any fuel pump recall( verified with VIN). I popped the clip off and wiggled the return line at the leak, stopped the leak. Truck sat idle a couple days so seal probably dry. Taking it to my friend mechanic to replace that fuel line.

Having the same issue. I started parking the truck in front of my garage and noticed some fluid. End up finding the leak at the same position. What is the fix? Toyota tried saying it would be 1700 bucks to saying the line needs to be replaced to the engine. Are there O-rings in the tubing?

My mechanic friend tried to get that line but said Toyota was a mess. Anyway after “ massaging “ the line where the metal and rubber tubings connect, where it was leaking, the problem went away and hasn’t recurred. So far so good, been a couple weeks and no issues

I just got back from Toyota and they quoted $1700 saying the line from that junction to the engine had to be replaced. Hahaha. Freaking joke. I wiped it clean and put some cardboard down and have been monitoring. So far so good.

I had the same issue. I cut back the plastic sleeve and still have a small drip of gas. Do I need to possibly replace the push in fittings??
