2017 TRD 12V/120W outlet does not work

12V/120W outlet does not work. I believe I tested all the fuses with my meter. Cannot locate the fuse.

 

Do you have the truck running when you tried it?

 

Yes, it worked till I plugged in a mini compress for a quick few pound tire fill up.

 

My 120 outlet in the bed works.

 

10 amp or 15 amp compressor ?

 

I just went over the box it does not mention the amp. The manufacture is SLIME

 

Blew a fuse for sure. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

 

I agree, I went over I believe every fuse with a continuity test and all tested good.

 

Did you look at BOTH fuse boxes.... under hood AND under dash at driver's left leg.?? I believe the Cig. Lighter is fused under the dash..!

 

By chance did you overdraw the wattage?

 

Thank you, the mini box under dash at driver's left leg was the ticket it was a 15A image attached .

 

So I blew the fuses for the two outlets (15A) but the USB charging port on the back of the middle console is not working either (pictures below)...is there a fuse for this or is it powered by the 15A fuses for outlet 1&2?

That looks aftermarket ..?? Maybe there is an inline fuse to that one.... Check inside the cubby or under it..???

 

Bought the truck new and never noticed it till the other day and when I tested it it wasn't working. My truck came with the black wheel package. Not sure if this is part of that or not. Thought they all came with this lol

 

That is NOT on my truck... Must be a dealer "add-on".. Make them fix it..!
