Thought I’d share this, I remember when the 3rd gens were first released I went to my local dealer and picked up a brochure and kept it. I had the chief engineer Mike sweers sign it for me and I’ve had ever since in my collection of Toyota memorabilia. Kinda cool looking back at it now that the 4th gen’s are out and brochures seem to be a thing of the past.

Go pro mounts and red dash inserts!

I was so excited to get an off road after test driving one. The 2015 felt like a dinosaur after seeing the 16.

It says the sr5 used to come with different style interior too and I think at one point there was a orange radio surround trimming

Yea it was inferno, it was odd because blue trucks would have red dash inserts. They got rid of it in 17 pretty quick.

Also the canadian offroad was access cab only for 16, stupid.

My 23 sr5 has red accent stitching fabric on the seats and red door trim panels and passenger side dash insert is red. Are you in Canada?

The only paper that is used in our company anymore is shipping labels. We did away with paper brochures in 2020 and nobody has missed a beat.

Take a look around... do you see people staring at a book or magazine? They stare at screens so put instructions on screens.

My company uses paper like it owes them money. It's barbaric.

Mike sweers is a great man who has helped me a lot with my 2022 tacoma that I used to have. He was involved with corporate directly . I’ve since moved on but I’ve never forgotten that a chief engineer interacted on a professional level and small talk level with an average customer like myself

Yup, very nice memories. Who will still have theirs in 10 years? Also, the markets are changing fast these days.

Worst thing about a brand new shiny truck is that it gets old. Mines just over 3 years already.

Now over to the 4th gen crew. Oh and fellow 3rd gener's don't get bitter like some of those 2nd gen folks.

I still have my 2017 brochure with my paperwork. Marked up by the salesman for the options my truck came with.

I’ve settled with my current late model 3rd gen 6/9/23 build date. My last truck for the next 20-30 years. Girlfriend and I already have plans to make it our family farm truck in future . After owning so many tacomas I love it and accept its flaws and quirks. I’ve kept every bit of documentation on the truck since ordering it. To me it’s a piece of Toyota history
