    Cleaned her up today. Picked her up about a month ago, loving my new Tacoma. My first Toyota Truck was a 1982 SR5 4x4, 5 speed with 22R 4 cylinder engine, put a little over 500k miles on her before she was totaled on black ice in Colorado. Hope this one is just as good!

    Wow, that's a beautiful thing... The front end looks a lot bigger than the 2nd gen. You will have to become a detailer with the black color. Not saying its a bad thing because black is probably what I would pick if I bought a new one but no more auto car washes. Congrats, welcome to TW, look around you'll find a lot of good info. 500k on your other Toyota, wowzer, that's impressive.

    Yeah, I knew it was going to be a lot of work to keep it clean. My 17th new vehicle and the only black one. The vast majority of my trucks have been white and this truck it came down to a white or black one, the black was just to beautiful to pass on. Will just be putting in overtime keeping her clean!
