I just bought a new 2015 tacoma that has the factory touch screen radio in it. Im try to find out how to get gps loaded in it. It clearly has the provisions for it according to the owners manual. Has any done or heard of how to do this. Thanks for any help.

Unless you bought the truck with navigation already installed, it can't be added to the factory radio. And the basic entune system doesn't have the apps available that the entune plus system has.

I know. I was disappointed too.

Toyota decided in 2014 to $&%+ up the entune with different levels. You can always get one with GPS off here.

if on the right bottom corner of the radio it has a "pause/play" button instead of a SD card slot then you have the non navi entune radio
the navi one has the SD card slot

Consider using your mobile device. If you look at consumer reports, integrated GPS are hard to use and hard to update buy nice to look at in dash. devise based GPS are easy to use, easy to update, and may require some type of mount to be viewed easily. Dedicated GPS provide the best directional guidance, are mobile car to car, but are still hard to update.

TW rules state you must have GPS in your tacoma to call it badass. Contact a mod to change your screen and immediately. ;)

i just bought a 2015 Tacoma 4 door long bed. it came with navigation. I didn't want it. I won't use it. I have a system.
I use a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet for navigation. I built a stand for it so it sits just to the right of the center console, slightly over the passenger seat. My wife still fits.
I like being able to look up an address on my work computer using Google maps. When I get to the tablet in the truck all I have to do is look in history and it's there. Real easy! No typing.
I like the touch screen and XM radio and the backup camera. I am happy with my choices so far.

I keep my aftermarket navigation system on a portable mount to discourage theft. Well... that and just in case I need the magnifier to read with.

Yeah I have an iPhone6 so they don't make one for it which sucks. Looks like a nice mount.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
If you need nav, do yourself a favor and ditch the entune, it's crap!

The Large mount fits it and I like (not love) the Entune Nav. I,would have preferred an aftermarket Pioneer or Alpine unit but you can't roll those into the payments ;)

I also purchased my new Tacoma 2015 with the base system. Im in the process of putting in a new head unit and could use info on all plugs except the power/speaker plug. Does anyone have the Pin Out information for the plugs and also a source for the plugs and pins.

i bought a new unit but it is not Plug and Play as it was advertised, and there is no information or very little.
