2014 Tacoma TRD Sport Hood Scoop

Ordered a 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport in canada, i was told the hood scoop is only available on TRD Sport Premium Package!!!! Wat the Heck I thought all TRD Sport have the hood Scoop, Anybody knows?

I have the trd sport and it has the scoop

 

I havent seen the truck yet, i will post pix if it comes, i called toyota canada and i was told it was an option, but online breakdown of the different package TRD Sport has a green check mark on the hood scoop, salesman said dont rely on online catalog wtf! before he said its does not have the scoop, then he dig deeper, and told me hood scoops only starts at TRD Premium package…grrrrrrr

 

Is there ANYBODY here from TOYOTA CANADA MOTOR, That can tell me which is which? PLEASEEEEEE…….!

the salespeople will also tell you that your TRD Sport has rear E-Locker and that the hood skewp provides 25hp along with improving gas milage due to aerodynamics. woot woot

 

Actually I asked that too, and he said Yes it has it, I said its a limited slip Diff and he siad its the same different terminology…. WOW i dont think So!

 

You do know it's a fake scoop right?

 

well he is from canuck land, and they have completely different rules up there as far as toyota models/styles are concerned

 

All Sport models come with the hood scoop including in Canada

Also you can only get the Offroad in an Access Cab here

The Sport comes in AC , and DCSB manual tranny / DCLB auto tranny

 

I called TMC(Canada), and they told me TRD Sports have the hoodscoop, and Yes i know its not real its just "for show" but thats one of the selling feature of the Sport Package, while the locking Diff is to the TRD Offroad package, i called the salesperson that i deal with and told him about it, He won't agree to it till i told him i have the print-out of the deal me made and the hood-scoop is in there included, he said he will call me later about it! I hope this is clarified or i just won't accept delivery of the truck eh!

 

Dealer Rep, called and he was so "embarrass" I can tell over the phone that he was, And he told me YES…! It has the Hoodscoop(yeyyy)….!I would like to Thank All you guys on all the replies, Thanks to TacomaWorld for the support…. CHEERS!!!

Don't listen to that dumb ass salesman ALL TRD SPORT come with a hood scoop color matched grill,bumpers,mirrors,and door handles that's all part of the sport package. The premium package is just minor shit like hitch 7 pin plug and shit like that.
