2014 sunglass holder to mirror conversation

Anyone know of a group the makes a “rear view” mirror type insert that can replace the sunglass holder that is closest to the windshield? I’ve seen them in other cars… I have a service dog that sits in the back seats, this would be really helpful so I don’t have to take my eyes off the road

 

They are called "conversation mirrors" and the ones that fit in the sunglasses holders are usually OEM only as far as I know. Your best bet is to maybe do research on ones available from Honda, GM, Toyota and see which may fit. Toyota has them available for Sienna and Highlander models. Not sure if the sunglasses holder is similar to the Tacoma but may be worth visiting a dealer that stocks them to see if they might fit.

Will you keep this thread updated if it works in your truck? Have a baby coming in June and this is definitely a cool feature.

Not like we use the sunglass holder for anything but 15 random pens (drives me nuts) for my wife.

Interesting I got a baby coming this week.

 

Then you’ll have a rear facing car seat, you’ll need to hang a large mirror on the headrest of the back seat, facing forward, to see baby.
