I just finished a long weekend of sound deadening and installing a Pioneer AVH4000-NEX. It's in the dash but I ran into a few issues that will need to be resolved.

    1. I ordered the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 and also the Metra 70-8114 adapter which is so I didn't have to cut into the factory harness. Problem is I don't see a plug from the factory harness that matches up with the one for the Metra adapter. Has anyone installed SWC on a 2014??

    2. I ordered the back up camera adapter from the guy on eBay that does makes them(name is slipping my mind right now). When I shift into reverse the screen goes black and I get a message along the top that the display may be mirrored. I did go into settings and set the rear camera view to on. Not sure if it is a setting or the adapter/harness. I will email the guy who made it just curious if anyone has done a 2014 to Pioneer.

    3. One would think "black" Scoshe kit would the shiny black. haha...apparently black is flat black and "charcoal" is the gloss black.....I ordered black.....I need gloss. haha No biggie.

At least the tunes part work. Installed ID CTX65CS along with an Alpine PDX-F4. I still have to build my sub box and install it. But I'm friggin tired so it will be a few weekends until I get to it.

Just installed one in my 2013 ----with a kenwood ddx491 head unit - look on metras website ( they make it) there is an adapter that plugs into the stock ( assuming it's the same as a '13) --- all you need to do is connect a power and ground and the control wire to the head unit ---- either a plug in or wire depending on the brand of head unit --- that's it. Also look on ********* for videos. There is also an adapter that let's you keep your stock USB plug by the way---- also on metras site "axxess integration.com" good luck.........

FYI on mine (13) the Bluetooth buttons do not work with the new head unit but I've never used them anyway so I don't really care.........
