2014 "Audio Player Disconnected" Bluetooth and USB buttons grayed out

I have been scratching my head here. System was working flawlessly until I got a new iphone this week. I got it to connect and it was working for a short trip. After I got back into the truck, and started up, it would not play off the iphone, On the set up screen the Bluetooth and USB buttons were greyed out and not accessing the Bluetooth menu. AM/FM sound is ok. The information I have found so far is to 1) soft restart (did not work) 2) disconnect battery (did not work) 3)Load the Entune App (did but it would not let me complete registration, keep getting error message). I have not found the manual for the unit installed in my Tacoma. The ones I have found are not identical (mine does not have the "APPS" button).

My truck has keyed ignition.

Anyone got a clue?

 

I cannot get it to work by doing the ignition/light switch/setup combo or the "hidden menu" (no help by clearing data). Is there a hardware method, if I take the head out of the dash and short or jump something?

 

Its a 57089 unit.
