Has anyone come up with a successful fix for the rattle/buzz from the seatbelt anchor in the B pillar? Driving me crazy as its right in my ear.

Can you be more specific? I had a problem with my seatbelt anchor rattling/creaking/popping when i drove m 2011. I had it replaced under warranty, no luck. I then did some investigating and found that the metal stop mounted to the seat was rubbing on the metal swiveling part of the anchor creating the noise. i put a tiny piece of tape on it, problem fixed

Can't speak for the OP, but it almost sounds like a rattle wire is lightly hitting metal right where the seat belt adjuster mechanism is right at ear-height...

It rattles about 75% of the time regardless of where the seat belt adjuster is positioned, if the seat belt is on or off, and makes no difference if I apply pressure anywhere

Oh. Mis read the op post. Rattle in b pillar. So I had a rattle there as well. I was absolutely certain it was there. It was so prominent and identifiable that I went to the dealer many times for it. They informed me how noise can be decieving. They replaced all weather stripping in window. No luck. Once again I investigated. What I found with some lengthy trial and error was my driver door weather stripping in the top left corner of my driver door was lightly sticking and un sticking making a rattling noise. I put 303 aerospace protectant on seals and it was good to go. However in the cold season it is much worse that summer season I'm assuming the rubber seal swelling in summer makes rattle less noticible. Not saying the anchor doesn't rattle but do 303 your seals and see if you hear it still. Put a lot of 303 on them it won't hurt your paint of rubber. Sorry for typos. I typed this on my phone.

Thank you for the advice - I'll give it shot this weekend.

What is odd is that it seems that the sound comes when the taco has been sitting in the sun... Might just be my head, but its been considerably cooler the past few days and I havent heard the rattle!

Yes I have this issue as well but not what I am referring to in the original posy. the rattle is def. something in the seatbelt anchor in the b pillar . if you hold the button and apply pressure to the anchor, on the anchor that allows you to move it up and down, it will stop the sound

gotch ya. well i was hoping this would help but since you've 100% positively identified this being the sound, I got nothing on that. I hope you figure something out.

Considering driving self tapping screws in all over the place on the seat belt adjuster until it stops..

I have the same annoying rattle in my 2013. I have noticed it mostly turning left - both hard lefts and slight turns on curves. As the truck rolls right, the rattle appears.

My 2013 AC does this as well. Passenger side only, though. I'm about due for my 15000 mile free maintenance so I'll have it all looked at then. I also have a plasticy creak coming from dead center in my dash right by the windshield. I can push down right at that point and the creak will stop. Maybe a loose dash fastener? There is typically a fastener in that area on the cars that I've taken apart to that degree. I'll let Toyota figure it out...that's what a warranty is for!

So driving some self tapping screws might hold everything together better and stop the rattling right?!

I'm convinced my issue was the weather stripping.

Mine has gone away ever since I installed Weathertech rain guards that seem to push the stripping preventing it rattling.

Sorry to revive an old thread - Any definite fix to this? Any luck with the dealers?

Put silicon on your weather striping, I had it too, but it is not the seatbelt

Do you pull the stripping out and use it on the inside channel? Or do you just coat the outside of the stripping?

I'm glad I found this threat! My 2014 has an annoying rattle on left turns only, and I believe I have found the cause to be somewhere in my seat. I have taken door panels off/ muffled the seat belt anchor with foam tape by the floor board and still nothing. I finally got out of my truck and shook my seat and could duplicate the sound. I actually found that if I "lift" off my weight on the seat on the left turn the rattle/knocking sound disappears. So annoying!
