2012 Tacoma replacement antenna

Purchased a Dorman 76854 replacement radio antenna for the Tacoma, which auto zone website is the right antenna. The threads on the antenna are not the right size and just slip in and out. Is there any kind of adapter that can be used to make this work? Thanx in advance for any assistance.

 

I’d recommend NOT using it anyways.
Amazon reviews has multiple reports of it snapping off, leaving the threaded portion in the base.
If this happens, it’s going to be a job to get it out. You might as well replace the base at that point.
Seriously, I’d read the review. Take it back and save your money and time.
