Unfortunately, I backed my Taco into a pole in my blindspot and now have a good-sized dent in my rear bumper on the left side.

I have never had to go about replacing any of the Taco body before, so I need some guidance on how to go about this. I know this is going to drive me nuts if I don't get it patched up.

Any ideas on either an OEM replacement? Is this something that can be pushed back into place? Should I go an upgraded route? Any advice helps

Check the for sale forum for a take off or CL. Next bet would be ebay or Mabey rockauto

    I am in Reno Nev.

Does it fit a 2011? and has all the brackets I would need.

Just had a few estimates done and is looking like a $1k replacement job with the parts they need to replace.

If this works that will be awesome and I can pay shipping fee.

Greyhound is the cheapest way to ship a bumper. BUT, BE FOREWARNED. They only scan it once when it is shipped and once when it arrives at the destination. My bumper was lost for 3 weeks. Greyhound had no idea where it was and attempting to contact anyone mostly resulted in calls answered in East India.

Mine got nearly ripped off by a jack wad getting out of taxi as I was driving by in Vegas.
I got a Body Armor 4x4 rear bumper for mine for like 400 dollars. Easy DIY replacement and its sturdy as hell!

The tire carrier is an awesome option too. Works great! Only complaints i have are that its started to sag slightly on the side of the hinge, but that just might be the worn hardware, and the pin that holds the latch to the arm popped out because its only held in by a crimp on the bottom side. Replaced with a nut and bolt with loctite and it hasnt been an issue since.

OP, if you're looking for something a bit more sturdy/cool looking for less than most alternatives than this is a great option!

My tire rack is still going strong with no problems after about 5 years of use.

Unfortunately, this is a preeeettty steep dent and it has actually shown some significant separation from the truck bed so it needs a replacement.

I certainly considered just going after market instead. I am unfamiliar with body replacements though that are NOT OEM. Does this come with all of the plates, arms etc. I would need or is it just the bumper?

Since I live in salt country Minnesota, I'd be interested in how these after market bumpers hold up after a couples of years. Is the coating system better than what's used on the frames?

Body Armor 4x4 sends you everything you need. Pretty much "plug n play."

At least they did for me.
