I am showing a misfire on #4 but I do not know the firing order for the 2011 2.7L and everything I find online shows 2002 - 2006 and then 2015 and up. Can someone please help me with the firing order. I have bought a new spark plug and coil pack and plan on in the next couple of weeks replacing them all when I have more money. THANKS!

Cylinders are numbered from front to rear 1234 so #4 is the rearmost cylinder.

Like O.P. I was shocked at how difficult it is to find the answer to cylinder # designation and firing order for a Tacoma Gen 2 , 2.7 by google search.
hard to believe I found the most reliable answer on a mistitled thread about misfire on cyl #4....LOL ! SHEESH !
took a while but found the numbering designation most clearly here at the above post ( cyl # 1 is at the front of engine, to #4 at the rear )
and firing order is a separate issue ( 1-3-4-2 ) which is achieved by a Coil On Plug system ( C.O.P.)
