    I need some help!

I wanted to add some height to my Tacoma with a ReadyLIFT 3/2 lift. I then added 285/70 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. the truck was riding at 24.5"in the front (also had Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks up front. The were set to 1-3/4") and 24" in the rear.

I immediately had problems with a hum from the front. I swapped the needle bearings for a clam shell bushing. Hum was still there. Pulled the struts and springs and replaced them with Detroit Axel struts and spring assembly. This lowered the height of the truck to 24" up front. Good!

The hum was still there and there was a problem with the lower control arm camber/ caster adjusters. they were frozen and couldn't align the left front properly.

I then ended up swapping the stock upper control arms for Freedom Offroad Front Upper control arms for 2-4" lift and Detroit Axel lower control arms with new OEM camber and caster bolt assemblies.

the hum is now gone, but I lost 2" of ride height in the front end. it now sits at 22" from wheel center to wheel well , down 2" from before the control arm swap. The spacers are still there. I expected to lose a bit of height, but 2" is a bit extreme. The oversized tires were rubbing against the splash guards when I turned the wheels, so I had to remove them.

How do I fix this? I wanted an inexpensive easy lift for the looks, and now its getting expensive.

The saying buy once cry once is said on here a lot. Don't go to cheap or you will regret it.
If the hum came from lifting the truck then if you lift it back up you may get it back.
Also measure from the center of your wheel to the wheel well. That will give you, and us, a better idea of what your actually working with.
    Good luck.

I edited the above, but to answer your question, It's a ReadyLIFT 3/2 kit. The current distance from center of the wheel to wheel well is 22" front and 24" rear.

Not sure why that lift would cause the problem you describe.
Just to give you a reference, my 2014 with a 3" suspension lift is 23 1/4 in the front and 24 in back with stock uppers and lowers.
Eibach Pro Stage 1 kit with fully assembled struts and an icon 3 leaf aal in the back.
Rides better than stock and only cost about $800ish with everything purchased on sale.

I had a 2019 Silverado before my 2nd gen Tacoma(truck was a HUGE POS). It came stock with duratracs. I didn't a 2 inch front level. The front tires howled like crazy until I got an alignment. I had about 8k miles when I did the lift so the tires already has some wear and I think the lift changed the wear pattern on the tires therefore causing a hum.
