I selling my Trek Fuel EX 8 mountain bike. The size is 18.5", For reference I am about 6'1". I pulled the below specs from the trek archives. This is a bit of a project bike for any interested party. Unfortunately a few years ago I was storing it at my sisters house while I was moving and her puppy sank his teeth into the bike. He ate the saddle and bit through one of the brake lines. So at a minimum it needs a new saddle and the brake line repaired. I would also replace the chain as its a bit rusty and stretched out. The tires probably need to be replaced pretty soon, especially if you are going to ride a lot. Because of these issues I am trying to price this appropriately, so if you have thoughts on the price, feel free to express them.

The only modification is I have a set of Crank Brothers Eggbeater 3 pedals on the bike that are included.

Extras: If you wear a size medium I have some unworn (and some lightly worn) cycling clothes I will include if you want them. I also have two inner tubes, a shock pump, a tire pump for on the trail, and a bike lock.

I purchased this bike new at the trek store in 2009. I have really enjoyed this bike over the years, and I always assumed I was going to fix it up at some point. I am selling it now because I am joining the military and I want to sell anything I am not currently using.

Local pickup in San Diego, CA.
