Was wondering if I could do a hood “replacement” on my 07 Toyota Tacoma prerunner without hood scoop, for a hood with scoop.

No I’m not looking to convert it, just looking to swap the stock hood for a hood with a scoop.

    I edited my first response.

You would not need to convert anything of you use an 05’-11‘ hood.

Make sure you align the new hood correctly and be easy when you first close it.
You may have to make a few adjustments to the height adjusters.

I’d rather have the adjusters too low than height at first.
Other wise you risk putting the hood latch on a strain and breaking the hood release or jamming the hood stuck shut.
