    Can you replace the shift interlock solenoid on a 2007 Tacoma without having to replace the whole shifter unit

    Thanks, I was afraid that was the case. Any suggestions on where to buy a good used shifter unit?

    Have you checked to see if the brake lights work? Have you verified that power is getting to the shift lock solenoid when you step on the brake?

    The brake lights are working. I have not checked the power to the solenoid. Will do that today.

    Here’s the schematic. Check all the fuses shown 1st.
