    Sup Fellas,

I need a little help. I'm looking for a stock front and rear bumper for my 2003 stepside tacoma. I would replace it with any bumper, but apparently I got fitting issues. The reason being, my sister hit the rear bumper AND front bumper on two different occasions and now its all out of allignment with the stepside trim. All looks crooked and just flat out bad.

Does anyone know where I can get these parts for cheap? My truck is red, and original bumpers are also painted red. So, chrome bumpers wont do it.

    Anyone?

    Thanks!

have you asked your local Toyota dealer to see if they have what you need? Or you could always google "Toyota replacement parts" or "03 stepside Tacoma bumpers"

Well I know I could always do the dealer, but thats my last shot. I know they will want to rip me a new one as far as pricing is concerned...

StepSides use the exact same bumpers as other models.

There's nothing at all 'special' about StepSides in the front.

The only difference is in the StepSide-specific side trim pieces that 'blend' the basic bumper into the StepSide body lines. These are body trim pieces, not part of the bumper.

    Thank you for the input.

So, I should have no problems with any bumper I buy as long as its for a 2003 Taco?

    Hey Thanks!

ALSO, just as an update to EVERYONE WHO HAS A STEPSIDE.

I went to the dealer to find out if they had the bumper because I pretty much gave up looking for it elsewhere. It took the dealer about 45 MINUTES to find what I needed. They literally told me that NO ONE in their years of working for Toyota had asked for a bumper for a stepside. They seriously called other places and asked around everywhere. Turns out this is a little more rare than I thought. in any case, ask them to look in the parts and replacements manual, our 2003 stepside bumpers are listed under the 2002 models.

    Hope this helps!

You can do what I did and swap your stepside box for a full size box.
    Just a thought.

Saweetlou, Did the swap go well and where'd you find the box? I'm in Sudbury and getting a new frame for my 2002 stepside shortly. Was thinking about swapping out the box because I can't find a canopy for the stepside.

    Hey Fishin,
You should be able to find a box in the scrap yards, they are plentifull now with all the buy back trucks in them. I waited till they replaced my frame to swap it, that way its all new bolts :). It went on no problem, the only thing to watch out for is the proper fender flairs are hard to find. Im out in Guelph now but Woodbridge Toyota did my frame and they had 5 or 6 Tacos in the back all going to scrap yards, all with full size (toyota) boxes.
