    Did a little work on the 2002 Toyota Tacoma recently…

    added;

    1) Factory fender flares (purchased used, primed and painted to match the original paint of Black Sand Pearl)
    2) sanded the rust and POR-15 painted the entire frame
    3) 17” wheels from a 2nd generation Tacoma
    4) 2.5” spacers to the wheels
    5) All new seat belts. (Worn and dog chewed)
    6) fluid film the frame inside and out
    7) Safe T Caps over the rear part of the frame on each side
    8) New chrome Grill
    9) TRD off road Sticker
    10) vent window visors

    Just my opinion, but painting the chrome grill surround black would make a huge difference

    Thanks for the advice. I have my old grill still, I’ll paint it black and seeing what it looks like.

    Had to unwind the new one, see picture below. Then add it to the old Toyota winder and add the parts to the belt to make it work. Belts were around $50 each on eBay.

    Looking great, and showing me the way to do some work of my own. Mind my asking how you were able to find some used flares?
