For those of you who own a 2001-2004 Tacoma Double Cab, who have rear facing baby seats, I'm curious how you are doing for room in the rear seating area.

    1) I'm assuming you sit the rear facing baby seat in the middle of the back seat - do have to push your front seats up at all? What model/brand of rear facing car seat do you run as well?

    2) If you have your rear facing car seat in the rear, middle seat, how is seating on the side of the car seat? Is there still adequete room for people to sit on either side of the baby seat? Again, what model do you have as well?

    3) Do any of you put your rear facing baby seat in a place other then the middle back seat? If so, how does it affect the front seats?

    Thanks.

hi, i have a 2004 quad cab, the rear facing baby seat is a craco and the forward facing baby seat is a simpson from summit.
    1. no, with the seat in the middle it kinda just sticks out between the two front seats no matter how far back they are.
    2. i have two young children. the rear facing seat fits fine in the rear middle, and there is plenty of room on either side, in fact i have a forward facing baby seat next to the rear facing seat and all fits fine with room for one more person back there.
    3. if you put the rear facing seat behind one of the front seats, the front seats will need to be folded forward. too far forward for anyone to sit in
