Hi, I put the varying lengths, because I guess it depends on where the seller lists the dimensions, either the light bar it itself, or with the mounts. I was looking at getting one of these,

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/141126623339?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

it looks the exact same as this one?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/330985228069?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

does anybody know if there are places to mount on the bottom? and has anybody seen the quality? thanks

    Yup, pretty much the same.

Tons of people are making light bars now, most of them being cheap.

Just remember, Rigid Industries makes some of the highest quality/most expensive light bars. But you get what you pay for so keep that in mind.

I have a 20 inch okled light bar and so far no problems! Love it and for 200 vs 600 I can buy three of them for the price of one. Enough said.

    My 2 cents:
Most of the Ebay LED light bars & OKLED light bars are made by Totron. But there have been some other China/Ebay bars of very poor quality that have given all of them a bad reputation.
Numerous people have reported on multiple forums that the Totron bars are just as bright as Rigid and the construction appears identical...but they are 1/4 of the price. Totron bars have no label on them or the box..the Chinese designed them to be resold under whatever brand (i.e. OKLED).

I have a 31.5" Totron sometimes sold as a 32" all spot, 8 degree. I just measured and the actual bar itself is exactly 31.5" The mounts extent a little further..but on my application I ended up flipping my mounting feet inward. The mount holes are exactly 31.5" apart. So if you mount it normally the mount holes will be a couple of inches wider

The other thing I discovered when researching these LED Light bars...most are made with 2 type of bulbs...the earlier/inferior Epistar bulb...or the newer/better/brighter/more expensive Cree bulb.
The bars you are looking at are pretty inexpensive which leads me to believe they have the epistar bulb.

I purchased my light http://stores.ebay.com/egmotor/ which had a 99%+ rating. As you can see it is insanely bright and I am very happy with it. As you look through their inventory you can see they have both a Cree light bar or a epistar (or nothing) for each bar size. The Cree bar is always more expensive and significantly brighter than the epistar/not indicated.

I am not trying to start an argument, but many people seem to think that Rigids are better just because they are more expensive and the old adage "You get what you pay for". Well I see it this way..there are $25,000 wrist watches, and there are $50 watches...they both tell the same time.
Both of these LED light bars seem to put out the same amount of light and I have never found a single person that said their Totron light bar has failed them or malfunctioned.

    Good luck with your decision

While I agree that the LEDs are probably the same. The LEDs aren't what decides how far or wide it throws the light. Cree LEDs just make it brighter.

thanks for your responses everybody, esp primo (I appreciate the info)

so because of the mounts, i'm really leaning toward this one

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/20inch-126W...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4d15fe4d4e

but I don't really like how the difference between spot and flood are so noticeable, i would like it more like this one

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/120W-Led-Wo...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35cf234065

is it just my imagination, or are the stock pictures just showing them diff, or are they really noticeable?

also, do you know who the 3 year warranty is through? is it the seller? because I have had a lot of chinese made led's burn out after a short time, as well as hid parts with warranty, and when you start inquiring about warranty, they just choose not to respond anymore. I wouldn't really be worried about warranty if the led's were easy to access and solder in new ones? are they? It would just really bother me to have a few bad led's after a short time and I can't repair them

LED bulbs themselves should never burn out..they are solid state....if something is wrong with the internal wiring behind them..they may stop working. Again, I have never seen or heard of a Totron or Rigid light bar with partial burn outs.
Your spot & flood LEDs are always going to look different.
This is all spot one & they all look the same. One is cree, the other isn't. I almost originally bought from this ebay store...they have a very high rating too and appear to be the exact same lights as EG-motors

The first light bar I bought had a similar mount..and you can slide it to wherever you want.

Have you thought about one of the single row 10W bulb bars? I read those throw further than the double row, because they have bigger & deeper reflectors. I believe they have the similar mount you are looking for. I think they look cool.

Also, if you noticed I have an ALL SPOT 8 degree bar...that is the tightest you can get..and to me it has plenty of flood and is more like a Eurobeam pattern. I love...it is perfect for me...it basically illuminate everything in the road..and is not as tight as a true spot beam.

I also read some good reviews on their Round LED lights:
I may switch out my HID Hellas for these, if they every burn out. Tired of waiting for the ballast to warm up.

I am not sure you if you have read through this entire thread, but it has lots of info to help you decide:

hey primo, I actually have thought about the single row of 10 W LED's, in fact, I prefer the smaller more conservative look, I was actually only considering these double rows, because they were cheaper, I'm trying to get into this with as little cost as possible, cause it's mainly just for fun, I don't see a time when I'll need them, I live in the city :)

so you say they throw light farther, do you think they will appear as bright? I know the lumen rating is roughly the same at about 10000 to 12000, if that even means anything, because who knows how regulated that is

warranty is thru the seller only, and I field TONS of calls and complaints on light bars that have no dealer backing as far as support, probably 10 a week from people who buy off ebay, craigslist, etc then have an issue and have 0 warranty.
Our warranty is printed on the site, for all to see, nothing to hide and here if you need us!
No matter what you buy, do your homework, I've seen some ebay lights up close and they are exactly that, glued lenses with bolt heads for looks, etc. I get alot of repair requests, but I just don't have time to mess with those any longer.
Good luck in your quest for more light!
