I would like to install a lift kit myself. What are some good, or reputable lift kit options to purchase?(2'' specifically)

Is this a 1995 pickup, or the 1995.5 tacoma?

It's a bit weird, but the first ever Tacoma came out mid-year 1995, so it's referred to as model year 1995.5.

If you have the 3.4L V6, it's the Tacoma.

    What engine does it have

    3.0 v6 = Toyota Pickup

    3.4l v6 = Toyota Tacoma

I would checkout Toytec, Wheelers Offroad or Headstrong Offroad's websites...they all sell different lift kits where you can get everything you need in one package and it will be good quality.

Avoid spacers and block lifts if you can help it

The suspension is different, that's why...

The sky's the limit on lifts, really. What's your budget?

If you want a complete refresh of your suspension (all new shocks and springs) and ~2.5" lift, the OME full kit is a good kit, and runs ~$1200.

For a but less, you can keep your old springs and get Bilstein 5100s (the front shocks are height adjustable) and an add-a-leaf for the rear. That'll run ~$400-500.

Or go nuts with Kings all around, Deaver leafs, or Long travel, 40's and tons, etc... :D

If you're looking for a suspension lift, I've been super happy with Old Man Emu/Dakars on my '04.

The route you go will be heavily budget dependent and what you're trying to achieve. Maybe give Wheeler's a call? They were super helpful for me.

I would be prepared to have to wait a bit for a complete kit to ship, it seems a lot of places are backordered on a lot of common/popular parts right now due to Covid slowing down production among other things (probably a lot of people using the down time to buy/install parts).

    ^^ This

I waited over two months for the extra leaf in my Dakars, while the rest of my kit was boxed up and ready to ship. Have had similar delays on OEM maintenance parts.
