Need some help deciding here, not sure if I should go with the JL audio shallow mounts, or the L7s. I do know kicker has quality subs and they can take a beating if they're powered correctly, I had 2 10' comps in my mustang and they're still going hard. I don't have any experience with JL audio but I do hear good things about these, however those new L7s put out some serious power. They will be powered by an alpine PDX 1.600 digital mono amp. Let me know what you guys think is the best way to go, thanks!

ya i was leaning towards the L7s... have you had any experience with these? I had 2 10' kicker compvt's before and those knocked, would these 2 8's be better?

Where do you plan on getting a JL 10" shallow mount?

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Yeah you'll be waiting for a while if you are referring to the new shallow JL Audio 10TW3's.

Nah those things are crazy but way too expensive, and I was gonna get the older version of the shallows which are good but I don't think would match up to the L7's even though they are 8's they have the cone space of a 10 are supposed to put out the power and sound of a 10 so with 2 of those powered by an alpine PDX digital I think they will be plenty loud and sound great

Did you have an L7 10 in the back of a taco? I didn't think 10's would fit considering airspace and the cone sitting right on the back of ur seat... I figured the spacing would be way to tight? Mounting depth is over 6 in. Right?
