Just finished my 2.5 front end conversion on my 09. Think it turned out pretty well considering I used almost everything aftermarket except the hood which I found from a local salvage yard. I bought everything else from carparts.com minus the grille and smaller miscellaneous clips which I got from eBay. Fitment was about 95% on point with some minor adjustments necessary. The hardest part of the swap was switching my retrofits from my old headlights to my new ones which obviously isn’t a requirement if you’re just using stock lights. Other than that pretty straight forward. Here for any questions you guys may have!

The only thing I would “buy” differently would be to get OEM fender liners. The aftermarket ones I got were way more of a pain to install than I expected due to some excess material I had to shave down leftover from the molding process & overall alignment of them wasnt’ great either.

Looks good, nice work. But to be honest I liked it better before.

To each their own. In my opinion, the 2012-2015 is the best looking Tacoma to date. The 05-11 design isn’t bad by any means, but it’s dated. This just gives it the extra level of style it was missing. TBH I wasn’t set on the conversion until someone backed into my old bumper and turned the hesitation into action since I needed new paint anyway.

That was the perfect opportunity to do it then, it still looks great but also did before.

VERY nice. I've about got all the parts required and will be doing the same thing to my 2009 TRD Sport very soon.
