If you aren't jumping your truck then 2.5s should be more than fine. That being said, 3.0 would be awesome because why not. :D

the 2.5's have not kept it together as they have aged (57k), and they are really nice but can't adequately dampen my fronts, never have been able to fully. so it's the full stage 3 3.0 IBP ext res w/adjusters and a couple empty bank accts to go with them.

and thanks for all your awesome Amazon contributions btw.

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on some King 2.5s for my front suspension ... really just waiting on a nice Black Friday discount code ... but now you guys have me hunting the internet for 3.0s. :anonymous:

Edit: But at 2x the price of 2.5s, those 3.0s better be worth it or else I will might cry.

I’ve said this before many times. I HIGHLY doubt anyone is driving there OE length truck to the point where a 3.0 is required. Its to feed the ego.

I mean if you want them and do t mind spending the money, go for it but there are many better options to gain performance for the buck.

Bigger diameter shocks doesn’t mean smoother ride. It’s all about valving and the weight you run compared to the valving. Bigger shocks can actually be rougher if they aren’t valved for the ride you want
