Just thought compiling this info would help others in making decisions for their lifts and how you choose your parts knowing this information. This would also help with finding close enough weights and their models to determine a more accurate lift comparison. or in many ways you can compare in your heads. Curb Weight is the weight not including passengers or cargo. Compiled by me on Excel and data taken from Edmunds.

Id say that's pretty accurate. I weighed my truck at a landscaping co. scale and it weghed 3920lbs. without me in it. I have a Snugtop shell and a bullbar added on and I figure they add about 200lbs.

in actuality many models fall within appr 100 lbs, which means all this talk about spring lifts should be relatively the same, not so much variance. which means there are other variables creating different results from old setup to new setups.

like v6 does not have a huge difference from 2.7L because the difference is (A(3.4) - B(2.7)) = difference weight of essentially the 2 extra cylinders

however, the 4wd system adds a lot more weight because Prerunners don't have any at all, so its full weight added. (A(Current Weight) + B(4WD system))=new added weight

in this case 4dr double cab prerunner 2.7 is only 45 pounds lighter than the v6 version prerunner.

and the 4dr double cab v6 prerunner is 230 lbs lighter than its 4wd version.

so the 4wd system weighs alot more when added, than comparing a v6 to I4 2.7. which means alot of the OME theories doesn't always mean it will be alot higher or lower because of the engine size. i feel the 4wd system will be the bigger difference.

Totally agree. I recently had my V6 Prerunner Auto weighed at the landfill (empty) and the number was in the 3355 range.

I've weighed my truck four times over the last 20 years at a commercial gravel site and each time it weighed the same within a pound or two. It's a TRD with the V6 engine, a shell on the back, a full tank of gas, and me outside (and not standing on the weighing platform  ). Damned if I can remember what the exact figure was, but it was around 4,280 or so...
