The dash clock was out (didn't even know I had one in the first place) and upon searching the interwebs I found a solution that worked for me.
I am posting this in order to make it easy for someone else to find with a Google search.

I've been reading up on the subject and it looks like Toyota might have used Lead Free solder on some of the components and they tend to crack over time with vibration, etc.

I'd say it's worth a try even if you are not able to notice any cracks with naked eye or under magnifying glass. In my case, it was pretty noticeable. It only takes a couple of minutes. Took me less than 20 from start to finish.

I found this video on how to do it and it was very helpful:

Here are pics from my clock.
You can see the crack. Once I resoldered all resistors, it plugged in and works like a charm.

Your ebrake is a little greasy. Wonder what your steering wheel looks like. :bananadead:

Oh man.... I just bought this truck and oh boy.. The amount of gunk I took out of it is unreal. Finishing cleaning tomorrow. E-brake handle is the last. And yup, the steering wheel and shifter were almost black.
Here's a pic of what the AC fan looked like before and mid clean, I didn't take an after pic
