    Hi all,

I know that the 1st Gen Tacos differ from N60 Hiluxes in terms of styling, safety features etc, but a lot of components are compatible. I've even seen a Tacoma front fitted straight onto a Hilux body. Can anyone tell me if the Tacoma used the same frame as the Hilux? From Toyota's standpoint this would make sense. I'm looking at some Xtra Cab rock sliders for Tacomas that bolt to the frame and it would be useful to know if they will bolt straight up to my Japanese-built 2004 Xtra Cab.
