    You need a flux capacitor.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do with my truck, huge fan of Back to the Future. Just take a look at my license plate.

    rfrrf.jpg

The BTTF truck uses front and rear tube bumpers and a roll bar with KC lights. I'm not a big fan of tube or Baja style bumpers so I have a grille guard on right now I'm picking up a Relentless Fabrication Predator full plated winch bumper at the end of the month.

The KC lights are old KC Daylighters, KC still sells them. They're not the same ones I have right now.

The roll bar will be hard to find. Roll Bars haven't been commonplace since the 1980s. I bought mine off Craigslist from a 1985 Toyota Pickup but it took me months to find the right one, I bought one before but it just didn't look right since it was made for a Chevy.

Here's the '85 Toyota Pickup one I bought. I believe this is the same one used in the movie.

Yep rollbars are harder than bumpers. I have part of a black one like shown in prev post but it is missing the bottom sections that mount it to the bed. Makes it to short. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth fabricating or just going with a bed bar. I’m really just looking for a higher place to mount a light bar so will prob just go with the bar

I've never seen them for sale before for a Tacoma so your only option is fabricated some yourself or modifying a design for another vehicle to fit. Like I said, these types of armor went obsolete in the late 1980's so they're next to impossible to find.

Gonna be tough to do that and have it look good. Older Toyotas were considerably narrow compared to 1st gen tacos. My 92 is rather tight in the cab compared to my 04.
