I mean they are built nice, but I would never own one. Didn't like the feel, if that makes sense. And the stupid doors, I couldn't live with that. And if you don't know, the doors only open half as far as you want.

I shot one for auction and some angles it doesn't look terrible. Granted those shots didn't show it's face lol

Yeah I'm aware, it's weird isn't it. It's like it was designed for a compact space but it has doors two counties long. I just don't like how lazy they feel, the auto and the faux Cadillac suspension makes them feel like a ship on the open sea.

It's kind of why I made that mention of "new brakes maybe at the end of the month"

I can tell it's his least favorite car of his bunch

It's another one where I wish we got its original car in the US. As the Toyota soarer, the SC is much less doofy. It was an actual sports car rather than a sports car lazily dressed up as a luxury vehicle. And we never actually got the best of the bunch which I think is the Toyota Mark II

Isn't an A340 trans? I mean it reminded me of what these trucks do with the slush box. Suspension didn't bother me, but over here in the new county, the roads are rough, the AMG told me right away, the Lexus was much better.

Yup just about anything RWD from Toyota with a 4 speed from 1984-2006 was some flavor of A340, pretty sure it was an A341 for the V8 models. It's just a lazy power hungry pig of a gear box, dead reliable though.

Fucking ugly thing but handles like a dream, ugly as sin but a proper V8 roadster. I'd love one as a lemons vehicle or maybe a cannon ball run rig.

My ex's dad got one of those brand new in like 2006...I remember he was so excited about it. The rest of us had to pretend it wasn't as ugly as it was because he acted like he just got his dream car.

Another one of those weird early 2000s designs, like a Lexus convertible PT Cruiser

    Iiiiiinteresting

Dammit, if you end up with one you'll need to take a drive out here for me to try

I can believe the 'handles like a dream' statement considering the many different Lexus vehicles I've tried/driven all handled well.

You know my first car was a Toyota Cressida right? That thing felt like a boat, but holy fuck was it a plush ride.

Seats were like nicely worn in couches that your grand parents had at home; broken in and easy to pass out on.
