I'm going to spend Christmas Dinner with him and his fam, afterward I'm gonna help get all those turbo manifold flanges welded up for all his 80 series owners :luvya:

Now I know you're full of it :p His dumbass is being forced into bankruptcy by his creditors. Hell will freeze over before those turbo kits reach anyone but a trash collector, he's probably pawned off the valuables anyway.

The only way to starve the 5vz of oil is to leave it running laying on its roof.

Someone on the Facebook group got a knock in his 3.4, but he was hooning it around daily, bouncing it off the ketchup pretty much every shift, maybe when cold too. I’m not sure if high RPMs would cause knock tho, since that’s harder on the valve train than anything.

Apparently the oiling system is pretty robust on the 5VZ though, especially when compared to the 3RZ. It’s amazing how much abuse they take compared to most other brands like Subaru or BMW.

    Dude went bankrupt?

Fuck...what a piece of shit, and you know he spent customer's money as soon as he got it, and to get such a big demand on such an expensive kit?

There was no way he was gonna fulfill even a quarter of all the orders placed.

Fuck that dude and I hate to say, his wife too cause she's been all in with his operations.

He may not even have been served notice of it, or has been dodging notice. But the state of Oregon showed there were multiple lawsuits filed by creditors forcing him to claim bankruptcy.

He also went completely quiet on Mud and all social media lately, after he had been terminally online for years. I’m guessing his lawyers advised him to do that.

He was good for the small niche parts he made, and he should've kept it at that.

He had a following and came through on the small stuff (even then he'd have sudden delays out of the blue) but once he moved up from the seal driver kits and power steering plugs and all, he was fucked. ..or shall I say, customers were fucked.

So he drives it like an idiot like the rest of us, so what? There's more to kill an engine than oil starvation, driving it hard when cold, not keeping the oil level up, whatever. I have yet to see the rev limiter being something that hurts these motors on its own.

If you drive a base model, there is no tach. No tach, no redline. #ProblemSolved

Hmm maybe I should just delete the gauge cluster... And turn off the main limiter in the haltech. Wonder how high it goes before parts exit?
