One difference is the sway bar mounts are in a different spot. Other than that they are the same.

I thought the steering stop is slightly different as well.

The stock lower ball joints and tie rod ends attribute to the slightly shorter turning radius, but can be exchanged for the other variants meaning, you can use Tacoma LBJs on a 4Runner if you use Tacoma TREs as well.

I was going to keep my lower ball joints and tie rods would that work? Also is there a way to get around the way the tab is facing for the sway bar end link to match up to the Tacoma setup? Thanks

You did read my post right? Yes, you can use them.

    I'd ditch the sway bar.

@Kwikvette sorry I did read it. Gonna keep the sway bar attached right now to get me through safety checks here in Hawaii. That’s the only reason I need to hook it up. So was looking at an alternative option to allow the stock tacoma sway bar to be used with the 2000 4Runner lca since the tabs where the sway bar gets mounted to between the Tacoma and 4Runner are in different orientations

The hell...so you need to run a sway bar yet the remaining 99% of ridiculous Tacoma's with stupid lifts (many of them half-assed and unsafe) are ok to roam?

Keep the sway bar, it's safer if you speed.

I've always heard if you delete the sway bar then it has a tendency to oversteer...

Replacing the sway bar link bushings has a big impact if the old ones were wore out...

At least on mine....the old rubber ones were shot...

Yeah delete the sway bar if you want massive body roll.
