1AAuto Review Customer Feedback

I just want to throw in my 50-cent review regarding 1AAuto as a customer. I bought many auto parts on 1AAuto because of the offered lifetime warranty on their products. This is my first time filing a warranty replacement on the headlights. Although I already received my replacement as usual; however, I have to ship the defective parts back to them myself which cost $100 for a $110 pair of headlights, so I decided not to do it and lose the lifetime warranty. Unlike 1AAuto, RockAuto offers shipping labels for replacements and you pay for shipping labels back to RockAuto which to me is a huge advantage because they have commercial accounts to offer cheaper shipping labels that do not cost much.

I would just stop ordering from 1AAuto because most of the auto parts will be quite heavy to ship back to the warehouse while the shipping cost will be a huge disadvantage over the original cost of the items. If you have other stories or experiences, feel free to throw them in.

 

that's a relatively standard practice. if you visit any one of the many home improvement stores, pick up any tool with a 'lifetime warranty' sticker on it, and it will state very similar terms to redeem the warranty.
