Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Very nice. I want onen but they cost too much :(

    Enjoy it!

Clean lux how much did you end up paying for it? I'm waiting for mine to show up from Australia and the wait is literally killing me. Also what state you located in?

Hard to say exactly on price because everything is done in steps with different fees along the way. To go back I would have probably went through Central or South America for a LHD model. I did a good bit of upgrades so probably could have started with a rougher example to rebuild.

I have a Safari snorkel that I will install in a couple weeks and am in the process of searching for a shop that can put together a Mandrel Bent exhaust. Hopefully get some pictures along the way. After that I'm going to run it as is for a long time. When it gets some more wear and tear I'll look at the other more hardcore upgrades.

So did you spend over 15k on it? Did you fit that turbo or was it already turbo'd when you got it? Any decent exhaust shop will have a bender to do that. I have a 2.5'' straight exhaust on my Surf.

Barely any on the east coast carry a mandrel bender. Press bent I can get at any muffler shop.

Well under 15k to buy but getting it here, baselining, lift, tires, rims, gauges, lockers, turbo, snorkel, exhaust probably double that. I wanted to start with one that was unmolested so paid the price for it now when upgrading.

Ah right on. I bought a 1kz earlier last year to drop into mine but that might get put on the back burner because the 75 I bought might eat up all the attention for a bit. I'm just in love with it but like them both equally lol. Here's a picture of myself and them in Australia. This was on the way to drop the Hilux off at the shipper.

Is the 75 a 1hz? That’s a cool truck such a short wheelbase and probably heavy duty everything. I imagine the hilux feels delicate in comparison.

I like the side open windows. Mine didnt come with them maybe because it has a/c or maybe it is just not available jdm. I’m waiting to come across a color matching set a pull it yard.

Ya it has a 1hz. It's a 1992 built and the ln106 is 1991. They both have A/C but I think the Hilux needs a recharge or something it was not all that cold. Which kinda sucked because we drove the hilux around for about two weeks down there. The guy I bought the 75 from had it for a long time and did alot of maintenance on it. Has a new head, ARB in the rear. It ran awesome. It's a shame they didn't start putting the 1hd's in them until like 2000. But the 1hz moves it pretty good.

Not so much. I think there are so many lifted ford/chevy/dodges's 1500/2500 with crazy offsets it actually goes unnoticed. A salesman at the Toyota dealership was excited about it and wanted to buy it for next to nothing.

That's interesting. I would have thought you would get swamped with comments.

It might be too similar to 4runners and pickups of the same era. I think only a few people realize that the double cab didn't exist here.
