Have you ever done something so stupid you want to ghost ride your truck into a lake?

Bought brand new 194 bulbs tonight and went to install the first one into the headlight and it came out of the socket. Now it’s trapped in the housing. Wondering if I can somehow shake this thing out rather than having to bake it and pry the thing open. All for a 194 bulb.

Remove one of the bigger bulbs. Using a piece of stiff rod (coat hanger maybe) wrap a piece of the stickiest tape you can find on the end so it can not fall off, a few times around the end should do. Right before you cut the tape/or whatever you use - make a small flexible bump on the end. Insert the rod into the housing and fish that little guy out. Easier than you think...I had to do the same thing a few times over the years...you could also use a piece of small diameter hose. Get the end to touch the bulb then suck on it to get a hold of it and pull it out. (think happy thoughts)

Good idea! More than anything I do not want to crack the lights open. They’re OEM sealed and don’t leak at all.

Don't worry, you'll get that guy out without having to do anything crazy...

Took headlight out of truck, tapped the bulb around and she fell right out in 20 seconds. Going to buy a lottery ticket now. Thank you!
