Tires make more difference than wheels, a 20" wheel won't rub if you put small enough tires on them. How wide are your tires & how tall are they? Heck, give us the tire size & we can figure the measurements. Oh Yeah, they look pretty dang good. Please don't paint them black!!!!

I’m just letting people know they fit. Since you know so much whatS the biggest size 18 inch tire I can put on without any rub? 265/60/18 are stock on the limited. I read I can put 265/65/18 on them

No, I don't "so" much, just enough know the wheel size is mute & the tire size, that you didn't put in your first post, is the important part. The 265/60/18 is 30.5" dia. (tall) & 10.43" wide, the 265/65/18 is 31.5' dia. (tall) & 10.43" wide. 1" dia. ain't much on a tire, that means the larger 265/65/18 will be only 1/2" closer to the front of the wheel well & 1/2" closer to the rear of the wheel well. I never remember seeing a truck that won't take a tire only 1" larger than the orig. May put in the search area (top right of this page) largest tires for un-lifter 2015 Prerunner. I'd think the sizes should be the same for the Prerunner & the 4X4. Welcome to TW, look'in good, & good luck

I put 255/70/18's on my Limited (stock wheels) - they are 32 inches and fit fine. With stock gearing your mileage will drop.

Looks good, fills the wheel wells. Nice looking stock wheels.

As far as what will or will not rub (in regards to stock suspension), you can save some headaches & money by comparing dimensions with one of these to give you an idea:

Yep, there's a nice tire size calculator here at Tacoma World, click on the home page then look over to the left. Put it what you have & what you want & they will show pictures & measurements of both.

I don't see why they wouldn't fit, since the 2nd Gen had a limited as well with 18 inch wheels and tires.

If you have a larger overall dia that is what lowers the final gearing ratio. You 'might' actually have a touch better MPG on interstate cruising that's pretty flat at legal speeds. Most folks loose MPG in town because the truck becomes sluggish with the gear change and extra weight. The performance hit for the off road crowd leads them to regear the diff. to compensate for the tires.

Price a regear for your truck. Then figure how many years you'll need to get your ROI based on MPG. You won't like the answer, so you will be in the category of 'pay to play' with your new look.

If you choose to black them out at least use plasti dip so they will be easy for the next owner to restore.
