Anyone know the exact overall length for a double cab short bed tacoma. I have one on order, and just curious if it'll fit in the garage. If it does, I know it's gonna be tight! I'm kinda just thinking about what I'll want to do if I'm gonna need to park it outside. Thanks for any help.

Did you check the Toyota website? I think it might be in the specs.

Had the same question a few weeks ago, so I found the closest dealer to my house and took one home on a test drive. The truck is 212.4", which is about 17'8"(ish). It fit with about 6" to spare on the front and rear, and I could close the bay door, so I bought one!

    Here's a pic of the test drive/fit

With the rear end touching the wall I have 3-4 inches spare. But that is the short half of the garage. The other side has maybe 8-10 more inches than where I park.

I am so glad I asked our builder to build the largest garage they could on our property/neighborhood! Original garage size was 20 x 20 and that was not good enough. We ended up with 24 x 26 which gives me plenty of breathing room for a tacoma and a Sienna in the garage

The backup camera is the greatest invention ever for backing into a garage . I can back mine up to within an inch or two with no problem .

You know what happens as soon as you ordered that new truck you won t be able to think right for about one year after you get it. Thats because thats the beginning of the disease setting into your mind IT WILL TAKE OVER YOU UNTIL YOUR BUILD IS COMPLETE. BE VERY CAREFUL ! MAKE ALL THE RIGHT CHOICES ! WE WILL BE WATCHING !
