15x10 wheels

Anybody running 15x10 wheels with 31 or 32 inch tires on a 1st gen? Pictures please!

Got a few different profiles, for perspective.. Lift kinda plays a role how your tires are gonna look as well. As far as how much they're stuffed in.

32's w/2" lift


Then 33's w/2" lift


And, 33's w/3" lift

 

What headlights are those??

 

Spyder 1 piece. Later retrofitted. They're kinda junk tho. I would suggest you stay away. On my third set. Going back to the two piece if new set doesn't last.

Yeah, that's why I was trying to show different perspectives. Because now with 3", my 33's look smallish.. Time for 35's!? Lol

 

I'm gonna have a 3" inch lift soon and I'm worried 32's won't look big enough on a 10" wide rim. I'm thinking a 15x8 would make them stand taller and fill in the gap better. Would go 33's but there's the power issue with the 4 banger

 

dont do it, stay with 8" all the way up to 35s and its still perfect.

 

33x12.5x15, 2.5 ome lift, 15x8 beadlock, measure 10" wide, yes it rubs

 

Yeah with 3", I'd stick with a 8 wide. For 32's. I'm considering going to a 16x8 so I can do the tundra brake upgrade tho. Idk. That'll cost me like $2k. Ha. But Probly be worth it. I LOVE my 15x10's. But Idk.. They don't fit exactly right. Calipers were grinded down, as well as a 1/4 spacer, when I bought it. AND had to put in extended studs. Proper fitting 15x10's are hard to find, and limited in selection. I believe anyways.

 

Thanks for the help man. It all comes down to how far they'll stick out and how much the fill in the gap. Your truck looks great by the way.

 

Oh and I did have rubbing with the 32's. On pinch weld. And bolt on spacers can help of you want a wider stance. Just don't go too wide on spacers, from what I hear. The 32's will look a lil small with 3". But will look a ton better with a taller more "skinnier" profile with an 8 wide. Would look kinda odd I think with 10 wides for sure. Like I said, I like my 15x10's, but they only look good with smallish or even no lift. 3" you really need 35's to get that proper looking profile back on 15x10's, I imagine anyways. Looks different in person with my 33's. Even my friends said it looks a lil odd now.

Just spacers and blocks. Was on when I bought her.
And to add to it just 'cause... Heres an updated shot with my new setup.

33x12.5's(not true to size tho so they're more like 32x11.5's) on 17x8.5 ray10's.

With 1.25" spacers in rear, 3/4" spacers front.
(Need to put in stock studs up front for the 1.25" spacers to fit. I cut my studs shorter to fit the 3/4" ones when I still had the 15x10's)

 

I once considered selling mt 16" wheels/tires and getting some cheep steelies and 15" rubber because the 15" rubber is so much cheaper, but in reality it's not THAT much cheaper, The only way for it to pencil out for me was if I could sell my 16" tires/wheels for what I *think* they were worth.

Actually, just looked on Tires.com and 33x12.50r15 KO2's were $10 a piece MORE than the metric 285/75r16's...
