I have put 14K on my BFG Trail Terrains so far. Not very impressed with the quality. I’ve had two tires replaced under warranty for being out of round (OOR). I’ve had them balanced numerous times at Costco, Les Schwab and the Dealer and all have verified my other two are also not very balanced and require a lot of weight. These are factory size on 16” TRD Pro Wheels. Tread life is very good; they are wearing even. Ride is pretty bouncy as they have soft sidewalls as they are not LT tires. Honestly my KO2’s I had before balanced better and felt about the same as far as ride quality. Just my feedback as yours may vary.

I just replaced my set @ 15K miles. I never had balance issues or any vibration, but the inside and outside edges started to develop some scalloping, where you can feel the edges wearing uneven. I just replaced them with a new set of Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws.

Typical BFG crap. Ran them for 35 years, quality has dropped and they are a hit or miss. Been running the toyo for five years. Beats the crap out of the high maintenance BFGs!

It seems that any tire you end-up disliking on a vehicle happens to have a thredwear rating of 2,000 and you can therefore expect them to last some 30 years...

I’m with you. I hate to see it but I’ve been with BFG for many years. My next set will definitely be Toyo

I considered the trail terrains when I ended up going with Toyos. Sounds like I made the right decision, I’ve been nothing but happy with Toyos other than liking the traction much better on SL/XL than LT.

Nailed it. I ran BFG all terrain TA's for many years. Then I replaced a set that had gone 75k with zero problems, and the replacements were nothing but problems. Losing air, losing balance, wearing funny etc. Finally a belt broke in one of them at around 30k and I dumped the set and never went back.

Maybe you got a bad set … I have put over 6k on mine and they are great so far . Ride great no issues with balancing . Wearing evenly.I had the Toyo at3 they were horrible rode like crap . Vibrations all over the place after balancing multiple times and they were super noisy .
