Really wanting to get a set of 14s but don't know how much lift I'll need to clear. I would be running 33x14s. I'm on a 3 inch body lift right now, I was thinking about getting a 4 inch suspension. What's a decent, cheap lift kit? Can't afford something super nice

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
Oh man. You're gonna get some good replies for this one. Spacers and AAL. only about 2.5 though. It will ride terrible but it's a lift. Strongly recommend saving for coilovers and leaf packs. New shocks. Diff drop. A cheap lift will cost you in the long run though. Just my .02

You should be able to fit 33s on there now? Not sure how tire width affects the lift height?

Get ready for the hate comments, haha. As for 4 in. lift, you'd basically have to buy a spacer and block kit, which is the cheapest.

Really ? No rubbing at all ? Hmmm, well ok anything over 3" & you'll need a drop bracket if done thru suspension because your cv angle will be too much destroying cv boots & the axles themselves probably but to fit what you want tire size wise is going to take some doing & some of that isn't going to be pretty I'd suspect, a 33"x12.50" isn't exactly a small tire...

But yes you can run 14s and 33s on 3" body and 3" suspension. There was a kid here who did that to an extended cab tacoma.

I will say idk how much he scrubbed and he was on 33 12.50 toyos. If you go to like a 33 1400 bogger. You probably won't clear but idk for sure

14 wide wheels change everything completely. It'll look badass, I already know that lol just not sure how much turning you're gonna get from the wheels sticking out so much

Yeah. I actually know a guy that put 14s and 33s on a 90s model Z71. He went through 4 hubs(or wheel bearrings) in a week. Sold the truck a few days later

It was either do spacers or run wider wheels and everyone said the spacers are just as hard on the truck

Spacers aren't going to grenade your hubs/bearings but big ass tires will, faster than some think & I'm sure you'll hear the usual "I run those & never had a problem" haha not yet, & are those same peeps going to be there with a new hub for you , probably not...

I used to run 2 diff. sets of tires on my '72 power wagon (full sized truck)a set of 36.5"x14" & a set of 38.5"x14"

& the difference it made on front end wear & tear was huge..
